The nearly complete Revolution Wind farm, set to power 350,000 homes in Rhode Island and Connecticut, has been abruptly halted by the US Bureau of Ocean Energy Management. The bureau cited national security concerns and potential interference with other uses of the area. The project, already possessing necessary permits, has prompted Ørsted, a developer, to explore legal action.
