An Ohio man made a list of the 3,599 books he read in his lifetime. It has become an inspiration to book lovers everywhere.

After his death, the family of 92-year-old Dan Pelzer discovered a 109-page list of the 3,599 books he'd read since 1962. Dan, a social worker and Peace Corps volunteer, borrowed heavily from the Columbus Metropolitan Library, which now shares his reading list online. The library reports millions have viewed the list and are checking out the books. Dan's extensive reading, spanning diverse genres and authors, is inspiring others to explore literature and learn about the world.
