Newsom's Online War Against Trump Escalates | JQJO

California Governor Gavin Newsom is escalating his feud with Donald Trump, employing a strategy of online mockery and aggressive rhetoric. Newsom, a potential 2028 presidential candidate, defends his tactics, arguing they expose Trump's behavior and fight back against Republican redistricting efforts. He's mimicking Trump's social media style, drawing both amusement and outrage. Newsom's actions are seen by some as a necessary response to what they consider attempts to manipulate elections, while others criticize his approach as childish. His actions come as Texas Republicans are set to approve a partisan redistricting plan, and California is poised to counter with its own map changes.
