The New York Yankees hit three consecutive home runs in the first inning for the third time this season, achieving a feat accomplished by only two other teams. Aaron Judge, Cody Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton each launched a home run against the Tampa Bay Rays, propelling the Yankees to an early 3-0 lead. This joins the 2024 Dodgers and 1982 Brewers as the only teams to accomplish this three times in a single season. The Yankees previously achieved this against the Brewers and Orioles earlier this year.
