Disney+'s "Rivals," a racy adaptation of Jilly Cooper's novel, is filming its extended 12-episode second season. Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett have joined the cast. Showrunner Dominic Treadwell-Collins aims to deepen the story, exploring the past of the lead character and featuring more polo. The first season sparked conversation due to its explicit scenes, a decision Disney executives carefully considered to broaden the platform's programming.
