Barr Testifies on Epstein Case Before House Committee | JQJO

Former Attorney General Bill Barr testified before the House Oversight Committee regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case. The committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer, has subpoenaed Barr and nine other high-profile figures, including former Attorneys General and FBI directors, to investigate Epstein's death in custody. While the Justice Department is expected to provide related files soon, the deadline has been missed. The committee seeks transparency surrounding Epstein's death, with Republicans pushing for the release of relevant documents. A full House vote on public release of the files has been delayed until September.
