WNBA star Kelsey Plum apologized for a joke she made at All-Star weekend about Caitlin Clark's team missing a meeting to discuss wearing "Pay us what you owe us" shirts. Plum, on the "Bird's Eye View" podcast, admitted the joke, intended to lighten the mood, was poorly timed given the players' serious push for better pay. She acknowledged the seriousness of the moment and the impact of her comments, stating she should have been more sensitive to the context.
