Nationals DFA Nathaniel Lowe; Rangers Trade Looks Good | JQJO

Former Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe has been designated for assignment by the Washington Nationals. Lowe's performance this season has been poor, with a significantly lower batting average and increased strikeouts. The Nationals, aiming to create roster space and lacking interest in his upcoming arbitration salary, released him. The trade that sent Lowe to Washington last offseason still appears beneficial for Texas. There's speculation the Rangers might consider re-signing Lowe to a minor league contract.
