An American psychologist and her family relocated from Montecito, California to San Sebastián, Spain, three years ago. Driven by a desire for a richer cultural experience and a slower pace of life, the family embraced remote work and obtained digital nomad visas. They initially spent time in Mallorca before settling in San Sebastián, where they enjoy a higher quality of life, lower cost of living, and access to nature. The children have thrived in the new environment, developing a global perspective and strong independence.
