Sony's new Bravia Theater Bar 6 soundbar delivers impressive audio quality, but its lack of Wi-Fi is a major drawback. The $650 3.1.2-channel system boasts crisp sound and excellent clarity, performing well with music and movies. However, the absence of Wi-Fi eliminates AirPlay, Chromecast, and Spotify Connect, and firmware updates require a USB drive. While the sound is excellent for its size and the design is low-profile, these inconveniences overshadow its strengths, making competitors like Samsung's QS700F a potentially better option.
