Rivera Wins US Gymnastics All-Around Title | JQJO

Hezly Rivera, the youngest US Olympian in Paris 2024, is now the national all-around champion. At 17, she edged out Leanne Wong by eight-tenths of a point in New Orleans, achieving the highest scores on beam and floor. This win makes her the youngest US all-around champion since 2017 and the first to win junior and senior titles since 2012. Rivera's victory follows a remarkable journey, including competing in the Olympics after her grandmother's passing and overcoming early setbacks in the selection process. She'll now compete for a spot on the World Championships team.
