Thompson Recounts Creepy Trump Encounter | JQJO

Emma Thompson recounted a bizarre encounter with Donald Trump during a Q&A at the Locarno Film Festival. Trump called Thompson's trailer phone on the day her divorce was finalized, inviting her to one of his properties for dinner. Thompson, suspecting it was a calculated attempt to date a newly divorced woman, declined. She also discussed the enduring popularity of *Love Actually*, attributing its success to its relatable depiction of heartbreak, and her less enthusiastic view of her role in *Harry Potter*. Thompson received the Leopard Club Award at the festival.
