Marvel's "Fantastic Four: First Steps" has received positive reviews, but some criticize its rushed final act due to cuts. Director Matt Shakman removed scenes featuring John Malkovich's Red Ghost and at least one Mole Man sequence. Writer Eric Pearson revealed deleted scenes, including a diplomatic talk between Sue Storm and Mole Man, and a space-based final battle with Galactus, which was changed to Earth for increased visual impact. The film also shifted Franklin Richards' birth scene for pacing reasons. While some cut scenes needed additional VFX, deleted scenes are expected on the Blu-ray release.
