Eddie Murphy, Pete Davidson in chaotic heist comedy 'The Pickup' | JQJO

Prime Video's 'The Pickup' follows two armor truck drivers, Russ (Eddie Murphy) and Travis (Pete Davidson), who get caught up in a chaotic heist when confronted by armed robbers. Their unlikely partnership, fueled by comedic tension and unexpected action, leads them on a wild ride across New Jersey. While the strong cast, including Keke Palmer and Eva Longoria, delivers moments of humor and excitement, the film's uneven pacing and repetitive jokes prevent it from reaching its full potential. The film's unpredictable plot twists and impressive action sequences offer some entertainment value, but ultimately fall short of expectations.
