Apple plans to give iPhone an Ultra Retina XDR display: report

Apple is reportedly planning to incorporate tandem OLED display technology, similar to that used in the M4 iPad Pro, into future iPhones. This advanced technology, sourced from LG and Samsung, promises significantly brighter screens with enhanced color accuracy and responsiveness. However, mass production isn't expected until 2028, meaning the first iPhone with this feature won't arrive before then.
