Sha'Carri Richardson, the reigning 100m world champion, was arrested at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Sunday for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, sprinter Christian Coleman. A police report details Richardson grabbing Coleman's backpack, shoving him, and potentially throwing an item at him. Coleman declined to press charges. Richardson, who competed in the US track and field championships on Thursday, maintains her automatic qualification for the world championships in September. USA Track and Field has not commented on the incident.
