Windows 10 users can extend security updates until October 2026 through the Extended Security Updates (ESU) program. Eligibility is determined by PC specifications, and enrollment is via Windows Update. Three enrollment options exist: a $30 fee, 1000 Microsoft Rewards points, or using the Windows Backup app. After enrollment, a status message confirms registration, providing security updates for Windows, Defender Antivirus, and supported Office versions until at least 2028.
