Uber is launching "Women Preferences," a new feature in the US allowing women riders and drivers to prioritize being matched with each other. Initially rolling out in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit, the feature offers on-demand and pre-booked ride options with women drivers. Women drivers can also choose to accept only trips from women riders. This builds on a successful international program with over 100 million trips completed since 2019.
