Ken Pillonel, known for his USB-C iPhone mod, has launched a phone case that adds USB-C functionality to older iPhones. The case, available for most models at $45-$55, supports MagSafe, data transfer, CarPlay, and improved fast charging. Unlike his previous hack, fast charging now works regardless of cable orientation. While some Lightning features may be unsupported, Pillonel guarantees fast charging, data transfer, and CarPlay functionality. The case also includes extra SIM card storage and a lanyard attachment.
