The Venice Film Festival, running August 27th to September 6th, unveiled its lineup. High-profile films include Luca Guadagnino's "After the Hunt" (Out of Competition), starring Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield; Noah Baumbach's "Jay Kelly" (Competition), featuring George Clooney and Adam Sandler; and Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" (Competition). The festival will open with Paolo Sorrentino's "La Grazia" and close with Cédric Jimenez's "Chien 51." Kim Novak will receive a lifetime achievement award, and Alexander Payne will head the jury. The diverse program also includes documentaries and short films from acclaimed filmmakers.
