George Karlaftis agrees to four-year extension with Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed defensive end George Karlaftis to a four-year, $93 million contract extension, with $62 million guaranteed. This secures Karlaftis, a 2022 first-round pick, through the 2030 season. The deal comes just after the Chiefs signed guard Trey Smith to a new contract. Karlaftis has been a key contributor since joining the team, accumulating impressive stats including numerous sacks in both regular and postseason games.
