US Tariffs Cost Stellantis €300 Million

Stellantis, the parent company of Vauxhall, Jeep, and Fiat, reports €300 million in losses due to US tariffs imposed by President Trump. A 25% tariff on cars imported to the US since April impacted Stellantis's North American shipments, which were 25% lower in the three months to June compared to the same period in 2024. The company's overall sales also decreased by 10% during this period. Stellantis, which manufactures vehicles globally, anticipates €74.3 billion in revenue but a €2.3 billion net loss for the first half of the year, partly attributed to these tariffs.
