Mamdani Meets with Democrats, Seeks to Ease Concerns | JQJO

NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani met with Democratic Congress members in Washington, aiming to address concerns about his candidacy. The meeting, hosted by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, yielded positive initial reactions, with some representatives expressing belief that Mamdani won over hesitant Democrats. While hot-button issues like Israel-Palestine were largely avoided, discussions focused on campaign strategy and economic policy. However, some members, including Rep.
