The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 93-87 in the Las Vegas Summer League, improving their record to 2-1. Yang Hansen and Rayan Rupert led the Blazers, scoring 15 and 24 points respectively. Rupert's performance included 4-6 three-pointers and a +28 plus-minus. D.J. Carton also contributed a solid performance off the bench. The Pelicans' lottery picks, Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen, also played well. The Blazers face the Houston Rockets next.
