World's oldest marathon runner Fauja Singh dies at 114 after being hit by car

Fauja Singh, believed to be the world's oldest marathon runner, died at 114 in India after a hit-and-run accident. He took up running at 89 and competed internationally, setting a record for the 100-meter dash at 100 years old and completing the Toronto Waterfront Marathon at 101. Although his age was not officially verified by Guinness World Records due to a lack of birth certificate, his achievements inspired many. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Singh's extraordinary determination.
