Seattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh won the 2024 Home Run Derby, defeating Tampa Bay's Junior Caminero 18-15 in the final. Raleigh, a switch-hitter, is the first catcher to win the derby. He edged out Brent Rooker in a tiebreaker in the first round, then beat Oneil Cruz in the semifinals. Caminero reached the final by beating Byron Buxton. Raleigh's victory earned him $1 million. Oneil Cruz hit the longest home run of the night at 513 feet.
