As camps prepare to open, 32 draft picks remain unsigned

An unusual number of NFL draft picks, 32 in total, remain unsigned as training camps open. Thirty are second-rounders whose contracts lack fully guaranteed deals, creating a potential collective bargaining opportunity. The other two unsigned players are first-rounders: Bengals' Shemar Stewart and Broncos' Jahdae Barron. Their contract delays stem from disagreements over future guarantees and inflated training camp roster bonuses for players drafted around them. Despite being considered holdouts, these players face no financial penalties for their absence.
