BYU quarterback Jake Retzlaff is withdrawing from the university and leaving the football program. This follows a dismissed sexual assault lawsuit and a reported seven-game suspension for an honor code violation. Retzlaff, who led BYU to an 11-2 season in 2024, plans to transfer to another school without using the NCAA transfer portal. He expressed gratitude for his time at BYU but is excited for the next chapter of his career. Several Power Four programs have shown interest in him.
