TSA will let travelers keep their shoes on at airport security

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced it will allow most air travelers to leave their shoes on during airport security checks, ending a two-decade-old rule. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated the nationwide change, effective immediately, aims to improve the travel experience without compromising safety. The TSA screened nearly 2.5 million passengers daily last year.
