'Now the road to recovery begins' - Jasper Philipsen undergoes collarbone surgery following Tour de France crash

Jasper Philipsen, the Tour de France's stage 1 winner, underwent successful surgery after a crash during stage 3. He suffered fractures to his collarbone and acromioclavicular joint. The crash, caused by Bryan Coquard, forced Philipsen's withdrawal. Alpecin-Deceuninck teammate Mathieu van der Poel expressed sadness, while Tadej Pogačar also commented on the incident. Kaden Groves will replace Philipsen in sprint duties for the team.
