Thousands attended the funeral in Portugal of Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva, who died in a car crash in Spain. The service, presided over by the Bishop of Porto, was held at a church in Gondomar, completely filling the building with mourners. Fellow Liverpool players, including captain Virgil van Dijk and Andrew Robertson, attended, along with Portugal's national team coach and several prominent players. Cristiano Ronaldo was absent. The brothers, aged 28 and 25, died when their car crashed and caught fire. Spanish authorities believe a tire blowout may have been a factor.
