Astronomers have officially designated the interstellar object A11pl3Z as 3I/ATLAS, the third confirmed interstellar object to enter our solar system. Currently located between the asteroid belt and Jupiter, it's traveling at 130,000 mph and believed to have originated from another star system. Initially detected by a Chilean telescope, its cometary nature has been confirmed through numerous observations. While its size remains uncertain, 3I/ATLAS will be observable for an extended period, allowing for extensive study.
