Sarsgaard Condemns US Political Division at Film Festival | JQJO

At the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, actor Peter Sarsgaard criticized the political divisions in the U.S., likening them to authoritarian tactics. He urged Americans to overcome factionalism and emphasized the need for sacrifice and action, contrasting the perceived complacency of the left with the commitment of figures like Vaclav Havel. Sarsgaard, while identifying as a humanitarian, expressed concern about the future, particularly for younger generations, and the lack of government support for the arts.
