Boxer Julio César Chávez Jr. was arrested by ICE agents in California. The DHS stated he's facing expedited removal from the U.S. due to an active warrant in Mexico for organized crime and illegal firearm trafficking. Chávez, who entered the US legally on a tourist visa, later applied for permanent residency after marrying a U.S. citizen allegedly linked to the Sinaloa Cartel. Despite initial clearance, he was later deemed an 'egregious public safety threat' and his residency application was deemed fraudulent.
