Denis Villeneuve will direct the next James Bond film, but without final cut privileges. He's only signed for one film. Amazon MGM is currently searching for a screenwriter and a Bond actor under 30, with Jacob Elordi, Tom Holland, and Harris Dickinson reportedly shortlisted. Villeneuve will likely contribute to the script after completing his 'Dune' trilogy. The producers, Amy Pascal and David Heyman, chose Villeneuve after other directors, including Christopher Nolan and Alfonso Cuarón, declined the offer.
