Former President Joe Biden paid his respects to Minnesota Rep. Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their dog Gilbert, who were fatally shot earlier this month. Biden visited their lie in state at the Minnesota Capitol on Friday before attending the funeral on Saturday. He also visited Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette in the hospital; they were injured in the same politically motivated attack. Hundreds of people, including Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, attended the memorial.
