A double-decker bus carrying high school students crashed into the River Itchen in Eastleigh, England. The driver and four students sustained serious injuries, while others suffered minor injuries. The bus, en route to Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, veered off the road at high speed. Witnesses reported the driver said the brakes failed and the accelerator was jammed. Police and the bus company are investigating the cause of the accident.
