The Cleveland Browns released defensive end Ogbo Okoronkwo and re-signed kicker Andre Szmyt. Okoronkwo, 30, had 7.5 sacks in two seasons with the Browns and played for three other teams, amassing 17 career sacks. Szmyt, 26, initially joined the Browns practice squad in December and signed a futures contract, having previously played for the Bears and the UFL's St. Louis Battlehawks.
