Netanyahu Declares Victory After Iran Strikes | JQJO

After decades of wanting to attack Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu launched 12 days of strikes, claiming a "historic victory." Previously deterred by the U.S. and security concerns, Netanyahu capitalized on weakened regional rivals and shifting US policy under President Trump. While initially supported by Trump, a subsequent disagreement over ceasefire violations led to tension. Despite Trump's disapproval of a final major Israeli attack, Netanyahu presented it as a success, boosting his domestic popularity.
