Yale's New Smart Lock: Matter Integration and Google Home Focus | JQJO

Yale's new Matter-enabled smart lock, designed for Google Home and Nest, offers broader compatibility with platforms like Apple Home and Amazon Alexa. Priced slightly higher due to tariffs, it boasts 12-month battery life and faster response times via Matter-over-Thread. Features include a backlit keypad, keyway, remote locking/unlocking, and voice control. While lacking auto-unlock and Nest Secure integration, it offers strong Google Home integration and setup directly within the Google Home app. The lock comes in white, black, and (later) gray.
