Dodgers Donate $1 Million to Aid Immigrant Families | JQJO

Facing community pressure, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced a $1 million commitment to aid immigrant families affected by recent ICE raids. This follows a petition signed by over 50 community and religious leaders urging the team to publicly condemn the raids. The Dodgers' response includes a partnership with the City of Los Angeles to distribute funds and promises further initiatives. This action comes after the team denied ICE access to Dodger Stadium and follows days of increased calls for the team to address the issue.
