Spotify's Lossless Audio Tier Coming Soon | JQJO

Spotify is reportedly preparing to launch a new lossless audio tier, tentatively called "Music Pro," offering 24-bit/44.1kHz audio. Code references within the desktop, web, and iPhone beta apps confirm this, suggesting streaming and download capabilities. This premium feature, potentially costing $5.99 extra per month atop Premium, will include higher-quality audio and possibly other perks like remix tools and concert ticket access. Initially announced in 2021, its release is anticipated later this year, lagging behind Apple Music's free lossless offering.
