Apple is reportedly planning to release a foldable iPhone as early as next year, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. Samsung Display is expected to supply up to 8 million foldable panels. While design details, including the hinge, remain uncertain, Kuo anticipates a premium price point. This move aims to boost iPhone sales, which peaked in 2022, and attract new customers to more expensive models. However, Apple's plans are not yet finalized.
