The Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 to win their second consecutive Stanley Cup, becoming the first back-to-back champions since the Tampa Bay Lightning. Sam Reinhart scored four goals, and Matthew Tkachuk scored the Cup-winning goal. Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves. Sam Bennett won the Conn Smythe Trophy. The Panthers' victory extends Canada's Stanley Cup drought to 31 seasons.
