Google's new ad playfully accuses iOS 16 of copying three features – Live Translate, Hold Assist, and Call Screening – that have been available on Pixel phones for years. The humorous video, part of the #BestPhonesForever campaign, depicts a conversation between an iPhone and a Pixel 9 Pro, highlighting the alleged similarities. While Google makes a valid point about feature adoption, the ad's overall effectiveness is subjective, and the claim is complicated by reciprocal feature borrowing between the two operating systems.
