Tom Cruise, Debbie Allen, Wynn Thomas, and Dolly Parton will receive honorary Oscars at the Academy's 16th annual Governors Awards on November 16th. Cruise, a prolific actor and producer, will receive an Honorary Award, alongside Allen, a celebrated choreographer and actor, and Thomas, a groundbreaking production designer. Parton will be honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her extensive philanthropic work. Academy President Janet Yang praised their lasting contributions to filmmaking and the community.
