Mortician's Cryptic Confession Sparks Renewed Investigation | JQJO

HBO's "The Mortician" concludes with its subject, David Sconce, cryptically admitting to three unrevealed incidents that "can't come back." Director Joshua Rofé suggests these imply serious crimes. The series revisits past accusations against Sconce, including the suspected murder of a rival mortician, Timothy Waters, charges that were dropped due to lack of evidence. However, an expert suggests the evidence may have degraded. Sconce also alludes to the deaths of an employee and a possible retribution against a robber. The ambiguous ending leaves the possibility of future legal consequences open.
