Solar Storm Expands Aurora Borealis Visibility

A geomagnetic storm caused by a solar storm on June 12th and 13th may make the Aurora Borealis visible in areas not typically seen. Charged particles from the sun, usually redirected to the Arctic Circle by Earth's magnetic field, are expected to reach lower latitudes due to the storm. This offers a rare opportunity to witness the northern lights in unusual locations.
