Measles Case Confirmed in D.C. Traveler

D.C. health officials confirmed a measles case in an international traveler who passed through Dulles Airport and several other locations on June 8th and 12th. Exposure is possible for those at Dulles Airport's Concourse A (10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. June 8th), the Silver Line train (11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. June 8th), the Russian School of Mathematics (3-6 p.m. June 8th), and several buses and a medical center on specified dates and times. This follows recent measles cases in Virginia and contributes to the nationwide increase of nearly 1200 cases this year. The CDC urges international travelers to be fully vaccinated.
