Curtis Jackson, 46, was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer, after initially being diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). His early diagnosis, facilitated by routine monitoring for PSC, allowed for a successful liver transplant. Following three weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, and a four-hour surgery, Jackson is cancer-free but requires ongoing monitoring. He's now focused on family and advocating for organ donation.
